RRC is our school’s resident environmental conservation club. The last two years, we have collected the school’s recycling, went out and done outdoor cleanup events, and organized other awareness campaigns at our school. Even though we are going online for now, we hope to expand in both size and scope. We want to do even more impactful projects than we are already doing, and we need your help to do so! Joining RRC will be a decision you don’t regret. Our club is more laid back than clubs such as Beta Club and NHS, and aims to be a fun way to give back to our environment. We welcome new ideas from our members.
Our lovely club sponsor is Ms. Begum, a science teacher at Chamblee. For now, we are meeting on Wednesdays, but we have a flexible meeting schedule and will take input from members on the best ways for us to meet virtually. When we go back to in-person school, meetings will be held in Ms. Begum’s room, room 4118.
We have a GroupMe for club communication. There is no cost to join initially, but when we go back to in-person school, there will be a small fee for club t-shirts. If you are interested in joining, check out our membership interest form above.
Our club officers are Aadi Saha, Alex Jovanovic, and Keegan Brooks. Our teacher sponsor is Ms. Begum.
